DRESS TO IMPRESS

... at the CLA Game Fair, Belvoir Castle, on 21 July

Female visitors to this year's CLA Game Fair will have a chance to win £250-worth of vouchers to lavish on the latest must-haves for their wardrobe, plus a pair of tickets for the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Rural dress style is more than a match for anything found in town or city and where better to find the clothes that cut a dash than the world's largest countryside show, held at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, Leicestershire?

The Lady's Day on Saturday, 21 July, has been launched in conjunction with The Lady magazine and aims to sprinkle a little glamour and fun. 'Spotters' will be on the lookout across the show for well-dressed women, inviting potential winners to The Lady magazine's stand in the afternoon to meet the judges.

Prior to the presentation of prizes, The Lady columnist Thomas Blaikie will share insights on matters of etiquette and dispense fashion advice for special events. Then judges representing the CLA, The Orient- Express and The Lady, alongside Mr Blaikie, will present three awards:

  • The Social Lady – stylishly dressed for a special event, with a prize of a £250 voucher to spend at Basler.
  • The Country Lady – practically but elegantly dressed for a day in the British countryside, with a prize of a £250 voucher to spend at the Really Wild Clothing Company.
  • The Lady – the overall best-dressed lady from the two finalists above, who will scoop a pair of tickets for the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express from Venice to London. (Flights and accommodation not included.) Ladies, shake out your top togs and put on the style!
