Or a newcomer in your life who’s captured your heart. Or your pet! Even a beautiful work of art could be the object of awe. Who would have thought you were so soppy? 

Night-time dreams do speak to us but too often we forget or ignore them. Or we’re struck by a very odd coincidence, or some other seemingly ‘fated’ event. The new moon greatly accentuates psychic awareness or creative imagination. And in one life area this week you prove to be ahead of the game because of supernatural intuition. 

Very much a week designed for your particular skills – charming but with shrewd eloquence and analysis. A business matter now requires examination, but this runs the risk of causing offence if you do not choose words wisely. At issue is how a deal enriches you – quite naturally, you do not wish to be short-changed. And you won’t be. 

If anyone can help sort out a delicate situation in the workplace (or at home), it’s you. Your particular skill is in getting to the heart of a problem rather than being distracted by self-serving claim and counter-claim. Peace and light cannot be assured, but you will indeed play a big part in defusing a potentially explosive situation. 

We dread the thought of the taxman getting in touch. Or if the bank phones, we instantly assume there’s a problem or we’ve been scammed by card thieves. The temptation may be to threaten a local business with legal action or a letter to one’s MP. Steady on. The matter is easily resolved with a simple call and a few sweet words. 

Keeping your nose out of other people’s business is a wise strategy, ordinarily. Why take on other people’s ‘karma’? Very occasionally, however, a sense of duty takes over when you witness a plain injustice, and you elect to speak up for someone who’s defenceless. You’ll play the part of champion and be triumphant. What a hero! 

The time has come for a step-up of some kind in your area of work. Not of the promotional kind, necessarily, but in improving how you do things on a daily basis. If matters have been a little disorderly, the new moon marks a time for a more considered approach, not just for your sake but for others too. 

Much thought has gone into the home this year already. Big questions have been asked about renovation or the wisdom of moving. Circumstances may have changed sufficiently to justify downsizing, or even upsizing. Take the opportunity the new moon affords to make a decision during the next fortnight or so about what to do next. Take a leap. 

While local politics are rather beneath you (the wider world is your preference), there is wisdom in paying attention to what one’s local council gets up to, in case pockets get hit or services are cut back. A civic matter is drawn to your attention and you’ll be speaking out in protest. Show no pity in a rotten borough!
