The Lady’s Passion for Pearls

Over a chilled glass of champagne, Christianne Douglas, of Coleman Douglas Pearls in Knightsbridge, will share her knowledge and passion for pearls. You will learn how a pearl begins its incredible journey, and the different types of pearl and where they are from. You will also be taught how to tell the difference between natural, cultured and imitation pearls; how to choose pearls to suit your complexion and, most importantly, how to look after and preserve your investment.

Christianne Douglas is an expert, who is now acknowledged as a leading authority in the field of pearls. Her designs are on permanent display at the Natural History Museum in London, and Coleman Douglas Pearl designs formed part of the Museum of Natural History of New York's touring Pearls exhibition. As a named designer for Iridesse, founded by Tiffany & Co, and with a private client list of influential and prominent figures, you will be learning from the very best.

Why not come along to her talk on 19 October, and gain a few pearls of wisdom? You can then peruse Christianne's stunning collection at your leisure and choose your perfect set of pearls. There will also be a special discount offered to readers and subscribers in store.

Space is limited so book now to avoid disappointment: £10 for The Lady subscribers, or £15 for The Lady readers. The event takes place at 42 Beauchamp Place, London SW3 1NX.
