A Midsummer Night’s Dream

There’s magic in the air at Kew Gardens this summer as the Australian Shakespeare Company’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream opened to rave reviews.

Staged beneath the heritage trees at the Theatre Lawn, behind the Palm House, Kew Gardens provides the picture-perfect setting for a summer’s evening with Shakespeare under the stars.

Described as ‘magicalby The Stage, this beguiling comedy of enchantment and transformation is brought to life within a dream-like woodland, filled with feuding fairies, eloping lovers and a hapless troupe of actors and we’re offering you the chance to see A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the special ticket offer price of £25.

Perfect for all ages, this critically acclaimed outdoor theatre production, has been re-imagined and conceived by Glenn Elston, the award-winning Artistic Director of the Australian Shakespeare Company.

“Lively, accessible outdoor production with some impressive lighting effects.

Glenn Elston directs with pace and imagination, while lighting designer Peter

Amesbury weaves his own kind of magic.” - The Stage

“This is A Midsummer Night’s Dream played for fun, with a capital F.” - Mark Aspen
