'No one feels confident if they’re not comfortable'
When launching her mid-season AW12 collection for Very.co.uk TV presenter Holly Willoughby stressed the importance of wearing something that fits well. And she has certainly followed her own advice in these newly released photos.
The 31-year-old mum of two gives a none-too-small nod to 1940s fashions with the collection - and looks stunning in a backless maxi-dress, £99 (below).
'I talk about this a lot but the most confidence-boosting thing is to wear something that fits well, suits you and you feel comfortable in,' says Holly. 'No one feels confident if they’re not comfortable and no one looks good in an outfit that doesn’t fit no matter how trend-led or directional it is. I certainly don’t'.
She added: 'Following trends is nowhere near as important to me as being comfortable and wearing clothes that look good and fit well so you won’t see me in anything overly on trend.'
And for those of you starting to get an inferiority complex looking at these glam housewife pics (that'll be us then) this isn't what Holly usually wears at home. She's a big PJ fan.
'If I’m at home all day I love to be in my pyjamas,' she confesses. 'There’s nothing better than having nothing to do and being able to stay in your pyjamas all day. I tend to go for printed trousers a vest top and comfy slippers so nothing glam!'
