Tantasic: Sienna X tanning mist review

Smell
I had been warned that fake-tan often has an unappealing biscuit smell but I was pleasantly surprised by this. It reminded me of suntan lotion and holidays.
Application
The instructions stated that you should hold the can '15-20cm from the skin and spray evenly in sweeping motions' I found that this wasn't as simple as it sounded as the spray was quite hard to control. The result was small puddles of brown liquid which I had to swiftly smooth out. The can also claimed to have 360° use which isn't strictly true. When I tried to use it at tricky angles the tan dripped all over my foot and I still have the brown spots to prove it!
Texture
I had left applying this to the very last minute before I jumped into bed as I had images of turning everything I came into contact with orange. However, I am pleased to report that the spray is dry and non-tacky after application and that my bed sheets survived the night!
Result: I'm definitely not orange but I can see streaks even though my fellow Lady colleagues assured me they can't. The colour is quite natural though and for someone like me who is a little timid with the fake tan, I think that's a good thing. I still have brown splodges on my foot though which isn't such a good look.
Verdict
7/10 I think I need more practice with this! I feel it was a good product to top up and existing tan but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you're looking to transform yourself from ghost to goddess with just one application.
