HAPPY FEET

Tired of the same old slippers? Perhaps it’s time to slip into something more fantastical, says Lilly Cox
With winter upon us, there is no greater temptation than to shake o the bitter cold by slipping into something a little more comfortable. Whether it’s your old tartan favourites, a pair of plush sheepskin-lined boots, or anything in between – we all, at least secretly, like to step into a favourite pair of slippers.

But slippers needn’t be dull – as a new book, Killer Slippers And How To Make Them, illustrates. With ideas from the downright bizarre to the comic, creative and truly fantastical, it provides a step-by-step guide to jazzing up your favourite footwear. From Circus Elephants to Potato Sacks and back again, here are some of the outlandish designs that show slippers in a whole new light.
