How to wear cropped trousers for any occasion

If you trawl through any high street rail at the moment, you're bound to find a pair of cropped trousers. They're functional and comfy, but how do you style them? Fashion blogger Chariza Miranda, of le-visualiste.com, shows us how
We've all gone through lots of pairs of trousers/bottoms in different shapes, styles, and sizes but if you haven't added a pair of culottes to your wardrobe yet, well, I think you should. Cropped trousers or culottes aren't  old news, they have been a popular trend for a long time. The awkward length might be a turn off to some. However, once you get your hands on a pair, you'll find wearing it easy and quite enjoyable. I pair them with pretty much everything. They're really versatile and very easy to throw on.

Here's how I style them in different ways:

Smart/Work

You can never go wrong with a button-up shirt and cropped trousers combo for work. I usually enjoy tucking in my shirt. It gives a smarter feel and elongates your legs (which is a big plus if your not tallest).

Night Look

Cropped trousers are always a great company during your night leisures - date night, a night out with your girls, whatever it is. It's never complicated. That's the main thing I appreciate if for. It lets you move freely and you never have to worry about fidgeting. You can have as many drinks or grubs as you please. They conceal most things you want to be hidden.

Casual Day

Like I mentioned, I wear them with almost everything. For a casual and cosy day, I'd throw a graphic t-shirt or any top I can grab with a pair of trainers and I'm good to go.

Need I say more? These trousers are essentially the best basic piece you can incorporate into your style. A simple yet so chic piece you definitely need to have. Most (if not all) cropped trousers are very comfortable. You can wear them in various ways without thinking too much into it. If you don't own a pair, you need one or two (or more)!
