Errol Douglas Salon Review
This week, I had the privilege of being invited down to the Errol Douglas salon in Knightsbridge to have a half head root top up. My colour was looking drab and in need of some attention considering my last salon visit was well over four months ago.
I made my way down to Motcomb Street, the streets aligned with beautiful houses and quaint shops. The Errol Douglas salon looked exceptionally modern from the outside, and I was not dissapointed walking in.
In the Errol Douglas chair I felt like a queen for two hours. The pristine settings, contemporary equipment /furniture and friendly staff made me feel at ease that my hair was in the right hands. The staff were very attentive, making sure I had a drink and a magazine at all times. Jade, the colour expert was lightning fast with my half head foils after mixing my colour- she explained that it becomes second nature when you've had twelve years' experience colouring hair!
When my foils finished setting under the heat lamp I was ushered over to have my head shampooed and massaged- I could've fallen asleep (in utter relaxation) then and there. Following this, I had my head wrapped up in a towel and was brought over once more to the salon chairs, where I was met by a bubbly stylist. We spent the next 30 mins chatting about relationships, homes, television, and travel as she blow dried my hair into soft curls/waves.
Spraying a little holding product over my tresses, and rearranging every last hair in place, I was in total awe of the results. The colour is the best I've had in years- a creamy, natural, bright blonde. This was complimented beautifully by the styling. I had kicked myself to organising this review on a Monday afternoon, as all I wanted to do was strut out of the salon and into a party!
No matter- I will undoubtedly be back for my next colour, cut and blow dry. It's easily one of the top salons I've visited in London.
