Beauty at The Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel and Spa

They say the light on the French Riviera is the best in the world. Indeed it has inspired many artists and writers, including F Scott Fitzgerald, Monet and Picasso whilst it is known as the place for ‘the beautiful life.’

So imagine my delight on visiting one of the South of Frances best known secrets, the Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel and Spa, located close to the countryside of Theoule-sur-mer. 

On arriving I was greeted by impeccable staff who instantly took me Bistro M, a bistro with a gastronomic Provencal flair. I took in the beautiful sea view, accompanied with a fresh juice and snacks whilst they checked me in.

After checking in (which wasn’t really like checking in at all as someone dealt with the luggage and all details of signing) I was whisked away to their hillside restaurant, L'Or Bleu where we sampled beautiful wines, all locally sourced. 

The menu is something of a spectacular feast for the tastebuds! The Chef’s creations are inspired by local harvests, yet infused with the spicy flavours of remote lands and even the honey was locally sourced from the family apiary. I tried the local fish trio which was the most freshest delicious cuisine I had ever tried! 

The restaurant itself is spacious and has a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea whilst the infinity pool below has a secluded private feel steeped in luxury and elegance.

After a casual swim and sunbathe, watching the sun slowly set, I relaxed in my hotel room which has themes of Oriental and Moroccan décor with a huge terrace overlooking the beautiful bay. 

In fact I could quite happily have stayed there, cocooned in the fluffy dressing gowns but alas! I had heard of the Tiara Miramar other famous restaurant, Moyà and I just couldn’t resist a visit.

The Moyà Restaurant is set at the waters edge with a canopy that is perfect for a late summers evening and it serves the most exquisite seafood.
Naturally, I want right back to my Italian roots and tried the Seafood lobster linguine which came with the perfect glass of fizz!

One of the most interesting aspects of Miramar Hotel is that you feel comfortable in a cosy environment but also have the luxury of privacy right at your fingertips. The spa offers rejuvenating facials and even private pilates sessions with personal training so there is something to suit everyone. I also got to view the luxury penthouse which is ideal for weddings, parties and birthdays and holds two roof terraces complete with jacuzzis! 

I love how the Tiara boasts it’s own private beach with the magnificent backdrop of the Esterel Hills and the red rocks above the sea. They also handily have courtesy cars to travel from restaurant to bar to hotel whilst there is an abundance of nature, countryside and beach in a secluded location which is less off the beaten path and more in opulent luxury.

An artists delight, perfect for any occasion whilst the light of the South of France is one that will stay in your memory for a very long time.
