A sneak peek at the 2012 Downton Abbey Christmas special
One of the things we are most looking forward to about Christmas is (of course) the Downton Abbey Christmas special.
The programme is expected to attract some 10million viewers - and the short trailer, aired last night, reveals a lot more romance than last year's episode.
The Crawley family and some of their servants leave Downton Abbey behind and head to Scotland for a break.
And after a third series full of heartbreak (Lady Edith getting stilted at the altar, Lady Sybil’s death, and Lady Mary's fertility struggles) it looks like there will finally be some happiness on the horizon for the Crawleys. We do hope so.
