For The Wedding Squad – The Savoy Suite
The Savoy Suite is open, light-filled and boasts spectacular views – perfect for a day of wedding preparation and celebration ahead of the actual nuptials.
The spectacular view across the Thames from this suite inspired Claude Monet to paint his famous series of London bridges. The artist stayed in this same suite for the first of three lengthy stays at The Savoy between 1899 and 1901. With such incredible light, where better for hair and makeup prep and for photographs of the Bridal party before the main event.
The Savoy Suite comprises an entrance foyer, master bedroom, ensuite bathroom and master dressing room – all ideal for the bride (or groom) to make themselves at home before the wedding and even return later in the day for an outfit change, or to spend their wedding night there. An adjoining suite has been incorporated into the design to create the option for a more spacious, two-bedroom suite so parents or best friends can also share the experience.
The lounge area has a fireplace and private luxury bar, all perfect for relaxing with a Champagne breakfast, and the ideal backdrop for a photographer to capture all the build-up. A dedicated Savoy Butler is on hand to ensure everything goes without a snag and that everyone gets to the church (or registry office, event space etc…) on time! And for that extra special touch, guests can book the hotel’s chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Phantom. The epitome of British luxury, this exclusive four-door limousine car with its recognisable S8 VOY number plate is available on request to ensure a most elegant (and instagrammable) arrival.
